Operation Christmas Child

We have participated with Operation Christmas Child for several years now. We all enjoy putting together a couple of shoeboxes for a little boy and girl. Over the years some of the children have put boxes together with their own money just because they love doing this so much and want to do something for a child that doesn't have much.

If you have never heard of this program please go check out their site and get all the info. It's very simple. Take a shoebox and pack it with little gifts for either a boy or girl. Print out a label and take it to a local pick up site with a check for $7.00 to help cover shipping. It's so easy and brings such joy to a little boy or girl that otherwise would have nothing this Christmas season.

National Collection Week is this week, November 15 - 22, 2010. Time is running out so please hurry and pack up a box before the week is over!

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Matthew 25:40
