Anyone who has not visited Ann's blog, A Holy Experience, is missing out on a real treat. I have been blessed by her for about 3 years now. I have thought about starting my own gratitude list for some time, but haven't done it until now. I think making it a priority to sit and ponder on the gifts the Lord has blessed my life with will make me more aware and thankful, especially in the valleys of life. I want to purposely praise Him and thank Him and make that a part of my daily life and teach that to my children. Its easy to thank Him for the "big" things, but I want to thank Him for the unseen daily things He faithfully blesses my life with too.
So here I go...
1. I'm thankful for a husband who faithfully reminds me of God's soveriengty
2. 9 amazing little and not so little people that I am blessed to call my children
3. The smell of spring in the air
4. The contagious laughter of my 3 year old
5. The smell of a freshly bathed baby
6. Family baseball in the backyard
7. The sound of my husbands car pulling in the driveway after work
8. The smell of wistera blooming in the front yard
9. Listening to my big girl reading to my little girls and making the story so very exciting for them!
10. Crawling into bed with my flannel sheets
“For the LORD is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.”
~ Psalm 100:5
