Discovery Kingdom

Tuesday we went to Discovery Kingdom. (a.k.a. Marine World-we still call it this) It was home school day. We always try to go on this day as it is closed to the public and there are no crowds and the atmosphere is so wonderful.
We made our usual fried chicken and potato salad and ate before we went into the park. The day was very relaxing. Jeff was able to be off work and go with us so we ended up spliting up. Duane and I took the little ones to the small rides while Jeff and Shyloh took Shelbie and Shaylah and they went off to ride the big rides. Jeff actually got Shyloh on the roller coasters!
Shylie did wonderful all day! She slept pretty much all day so I was really concerned that she would be awake all night, but much to my surprise she still did good at night too! It was fun to get away and have a day to hang out and relax. It has been great to have Duane off work and be able to spend time together as a family. We are going to be sad when he goes back to work!
