A good week!

We have had a very productive week around here. The kids were great at getting in and helping with our project list, of course it helped that they had the incentive of making some money!
So far this week I able to get the boys curtains made and make some boxers for the boys to sleep in.(and a matching pair for daddy!)Shyloh got the girls bathroom grouted, Shelbie started painting the upstairs hallway, Shaylah has almost all the top kitchen cupboards lined and reorganized, and Shadd even worked on helping me to get some of my photos numbered and organized.
I tend to easily get so involved in projects I want done that I lose site of making it fun along the way. This week I made sure not to let that happen. Every morning after breakfast and chores were done we would set the timer for an hour and work. When the timer went off we would clean up and go swim. In the afternoon we would set the timer again and work for a little bit more and then be done for the day. We have accomplished quite a bit without anyone getting burned out.
Today we took the day off. Duane was off so we went to the lake and spent the day playing in the water and relaxing. Tomorrow we are having a party for our July birthday girls, Shelbie and Shallyn. We are looking forward to hanging our with our sweet family and doing some more relaxing.
(Shyloh took the top picture at the lake today. Don't you just love little feet?)

The boys valance. You can't tell from the picture but this is the cutest fabric. It is a cabin theme with black bears all over it. It goes so good with their quilts. They love them!

Shelbie painting. She has half the hallway already done!

Shyloh grouting. I told her that her future husband will be blessed with a wife who can help him with projects in their own home one day!

The guys with their matching penguin boxers! Duane was so sweet to let me take a picture of him too!

Shyloh taking a break. She fell asleep in the sun and then can't understand why she gets burned. I told her to think about that a bit!!!

Afternoon swim time.

Poppet showing off her "muscles".
