More Dollar Tree fun!

Over the last couple weeks I have made sure to pop into Dollar Tree anytime I’m in the neighborhood of one to check out their new supply of school stuff.  They haven’t disappointed me!

Here are some fun things I collected for our new school year.

shyloh 523 These are called Make a Scene.  They are cute laminated folders with reusable stickers. I’m going to use these mostly for my two little girls as “time fillers” while I’m working with the big guys.

shyloh 525 These are little cards that they can match up in a memory game, we can use them as flashcards, and I’m sure we’ll come up with something else fun to do with them.  The boys will use these.

shyloh 526 This is a fun little game for everyone to play together. Even my big girls enjoy playing things like this with the boys.  What a great way to learn math!

shyloh 528 Stickers!! I’m going to put together little index card size books with all these fact stickers for easy reference. They have place value, math facts, presidents, states and capitals, and several more that we didn’t get.

shyloh 529 More file folder games. They have these for math, science, social studies, and even some for preschoolers.  These are all aligned to state standards too!

shyloh 559 More fun little games. Poppet, Lolly, and I played the number match yesterday and it was a hit.  The boys also played the math baseball and they had fun too, but Shannen did complain that the home run cards were so hard.
