Yes, its true

You've probably figured it out by now....yes, Shyloh and I are both pregnant! The funny thing about it is we are only 4 days apart!

Jeff and Shyloh have been trying to get pregnant since her last miscarriage so we knew this was coming with them. She came over and told me last Sunday.

Duane and I have not been "trying". In fact due to some female issues over the last several months I was even wondering if I was dealing with some early menopause issues. We have been talking recently about wanting another baby, but thinking that maybe the Lord didn't have that in His plans for us. For some reason it popped into my head that I should take a test Sunday. I did and was totally shocked when a second line showed up.

We are all just ecstatic over here. As of now our due dates are April 26th and April 30th, though we know due dates mean nothing and it will probably be more like early May.

Shyloh is bouncing off the walls over this. When she was about 13 or 14 she would tell me, "you just have to keep on having babies until I get married so we can be pregnant together!" I never could quite picture that, but here we are and I actually couldn't be more excited than to walk the journey of pregnancy with Shyloh.

God has some wonderful plans here and we are honored to be a part of it. Please cover our pregnancies and these precious babies in your prayers! I'm sure our sweet husbands could use some prayer in the coming months too. One pregnant woman can be quite the handful with her cravings, mood swings, hot flashes, and all the other fun things that come with pregnancy, but two women....Oh my!! They may be sneaking off to do lots of golfing come spring.

To explain our little riddle to you:

nine in ten = eleven .... 9 children in 2010 equals 11 of us

ten in eleven = twelve....10 children in 2011 equal 12 of us

one plus one = three....Jeff + Shyloh = Jeff, Shyloh, and baby Bauman

So there is our corny little riddle. Ya just got to humor us for awhile! We'll float back down to earth around the holidays!

Lolly is so excited and thinks she has a baby in her tummy too. She's been talking for 3 days now about her baby! (by the way, she has named her baby Madison Alex. As she says it, "Madison is her first name and Alex is her other name.")
