Birthday Saturday

A couple of years ago we decided to start combining birthdays when there was more than one in a month. As it so happens we have two birthdays in March, April, July, and after this new one arrives we will also have two in October. To make it easier on family and friends we started only doing one "party" a month for the birthdays of that month. This month we have Shayden and Shadd's. Yesterday we had their party. Shyloh worked on making a homemade pinata for them. She made it look like a baseball. She made this thing so thick that it went through 5 rounds with the kids, and we had 12 children hitting it! By the third round their hands where getting sore! While she was making it she kept saying, "I hope this makes it long enough for the dads to hit it!". I would say her plans were a success! We had yummy food, and lots of good fellowship. The boys had a very fun day. By the time bedtime rolled around they could hardly keep their eyes open. Grandpa and Grandma gave the boys gift cards, so today Daddy took them to buy their new scooters!
