Our Saturday

I love feeling productive in my home! Today was one of those days!

My guys were gone this morning to a Men’s shoot with our church. The girls and I decided that it would be fun to have a last minute brunch while the guys were gone. Shaylah made her amazing Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls and quiche. We had our sweet friend Diana, my wonderful sister in love and her mom join us. We pulled out our fun glass plates, lit some candles and had a “tea party”. My little girls loved eating on the “fancy” plates!

This afternoon I made several freezer meals and we also froze a batch of Shaylah’s Cinnamon Rolls to pull out for breakfast one morning. I made:

2 trays of Lasange

2 trays of Honey Glazed Chicken Thighs

1 tray of Teriyaki Chicken

1 tray of Beef and Bean Burritos

3 bags of cooked pinto beans

Hamburger Vegetable Soup
(I froze the leftovers from dinner. This will be lunch one day this week!)

Tomorrow I’m hoping to finish up my list and make:

Mozzarella Meatballs

Breakfast Burritos

Chicken Broccoli Bake

Cheesy Chilada Bake

That should fill my freezer a bit! I’m also planning on making some Lara bars, granola bars, flax crackers, ranch dressing, and a batch of yogurt for the week. Hopefully getting all this done this weekend makes our week a lot simpler!

In between brunch and cooking I also did 4 loads of laundry! I love ending the day and feeling like I accomplished a lot! It’s a great feeling!

The girls each helped to make their own tray of lasagna. In a few years they’ll be the new cooks!
