We had a nice quiet, laid back day yesterday while we celebrated our two July birthdays. Duane's parents, Uncle Micah, Aunt Lynette, Aunt DeAnna, Tarryn and Lynna came and joined us. It was small and sweet! We barbecued hotdogs and had potato salad, cabbage salad, chilli, and of course watermelon. Watermelon is a summer staple in our home!
The cousins all swam and played. My kids haven't had a good play day with their cousins, Tarryn and Lynna, for a long time. It was way overdue! Aunt Nette took the kiddos for a late evening swim after it got dark. (another reason why she is a favorite aunt!) Shyloh brewed a pot of coffee and we hung out on the patio and visited. It was a lovely summer evening!
Happy Birthday Shelbie and Shallyn!!
What's a day outside without a little baseball?

Lolly trying to blow out her candles. She was a bit unsure of it after she was warned that the candles were hot.

My honey and I. Usually I am snaping the pictures so I tend not to be in many of them, but Shyloh was the picture taker yesterday!
